ArabiaGIS participated in the launching ceremony of the CAPWATER project by the National Council for Scientific Research, held in Gefinor Rotana hotel.
ArabiaGIS participated in the launching ceremony of the CAPWATER project by the National Council for Scientific Research, held in Gefinor Rotana hotel.
The National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS) is implementing regional coordination on improved water resources management and capacity building project, funded by the World Bank under the supervision of the government of Lebanon.
ArabiaGIS developed the online web based Geospatial and Meta-database system. The system shows the Meta-databases and thematic maps related to the CAPWATER project.
The geospatial portal will improve the objectives and main activities of the CAPWATER project which focuses on regional coordination on improved water resources management and capacity building.
The portal is built using open source technologies for metadata and spatial data publishing and coordination in Lebanon, which will improve the networking between researchers, the public, and the private actors.
