ArabiaGIS developed a labor market information system (LMIS) including an Occupational Information/Classification System (OIS) and adapted existing job matching systems (ELE) in the Middle East based on the OIS.
In addition, ArabiaGIS effectively transformed the National Employment Office (NEO) website into a highly interactive and dynamic web portal, where the LMIS was successfully housed, to become one of its main communication channels with the international community, NGOs and civil society organizations, and renovated its web presence using the latest web and content management technologies. The envisioned portal provided information along with interactive e-services that reflected the actual services that are offered by NEO departments and made those services available 24/7 to interested job seekers. This was successfully accomplished by integrating into the portal an easy-to-use Content Management Solution (CMS). The CMS enabled the portal administrator to managing the entire process of web content including site design, content publishing and deployment, content personalization and multi-language content organization.
